HUST is pleased to launch its 2019 recruitment campaign for its Nominated Directors on the Board of Hereford FC. HUST Chairman, Richard Tomkins, says ‘Last year we were pleased to be able to recruit three HUST Members to assist in running the Football Club and represent supporters’ views on the Board. 2018 was the first year we recruited to the roles of HUST Nominated Directors (HND) so we appointed our HNDs on staggered terms of office as part of an implementation plan so that from this year forward one HND role is put out for recruitment each year. This year’s successful applicant will be appointed for a three-year term of office up to May 2022.’ ‘We are looking for one HUST member to fulfil the role of Volunteer Director on the Club Board. Working behind the scenes to look after and grow our volunteer base and to assist in delivering the HUST vision for our Football Club. I’d encourage any HUST member interested in the position to read the recruitment pack and put themselves forward. This is a voluntary role but if requested we will make sure you are well supported by the HUST Board and wider membership so we can all pull together to drive our club forward’. HUST Vice-Chair (Community), Joanie Roberts, explains ‘The Volunteer Director is a really important area for the Club to focus on in the next few years, as it seeks to develop its model of sustainability at more competitive levels.’ HUST Vice-Chair (Governance), Craig Goodall, reports ‘The role is open for any HUST Member to apply for and we welcome applications from all as we are keen to make the most of the talents within our supporter base.’ Tomkins adds ‘a Recruitment Pack has been uploaded to our website for interested candidates. If anyone would like an informal conversation, I’d encourage them to contact me on richard.tomkins@hufctrust.co.uk.
The application deadline is 12 April 2019 and interviews will take place week beginning 15 April 2019.’
