Alfreton manager Billy Heath was pleased with the reaction of his players last night against Hereford. It came after a 7-0 defeat last weekend.
"I was pleased, a bit of pride back in the place," said Heath.
"Two sides, not a lot between them, really cancelled each other out at times.
"We set up with a totally different formation, 3-4-3, and once we got into the game after fifteen, twenty minutes I thought we had the better chances.
"There weren't a lot of chances going tonight but I think first half we edged it, I thought we looked the better team.
"Second half it was really like two teams cancelling each other."
