Stockport County's next fixture is at Edgar Street on Saturday. Manager Jim Gannon's side won 2-0 against Darlington yesterday whilst leaders Chorley could only draw with Chester.
The Hatters are now two points behind Chorley with a game in hand.
"Three points and a clean sheet," said Gannon.
"Spennymoor got beat but we have to be mindful Hereford won.
"We're at that stage of the season where the topsy-turvey aspect of games is certainly going to come to the fore. We'll take one game at a time.
"Hereford will be a tough game.
"I watched the video of them against Darlington. They were 2-0 down and came back to win 4-2.
"I think Hereford have started to find a bit of life.
"It's a great pitch, a great place to play football so I'm really looking forward to it.
"I remember back in the 90's playing there when they were a non-league side and they pulled the Bull out for an FA Cup game.
"It will be as tough as playing any team.
"We just have to make sure we come away with a result."
