26 year old Rowan Liburd has joined Hereford FC from Guiseley on a deal until the end of next season.
The Croyden born 6ft 3in striker spent four years abroad in university. Then on his return to the UK he joined Billericay where he scored 22 goals.
He was noted by Reading scouts and moved to the Championship club in July 2015. However he only made three appearances before being loaned out to Wycombe Wanderers in March 2016. In ten games he didn't score but one of those games was against Stevenage whose chairman Phil Wallace felt Liburd needed time to 'evolve'
"Rowan is an exceptional athlete and a big lad, but the step from
non-league to the Championship is a huge jump for an inexperienced young
player," said Wallace.
In July 2016 he moved to Stevenage for an undisclosed five figure fee. He made 13 appearances before a loan move to Leyton Orient.
More loans followed, firstly to Hemel Hempstead and secondly to Guiseley.
He signed for Guiseley in December 2017.
