Despite having already brought in several players last week, York manager Steve Watson is reported to be likely to bring in another new face before the visit of Hereford tomorrow evening.
On Saturday York won 3-2 at Alfreton, their first away win since defeating Kidderminster in the FA Trophy last November.
"I thought we totally dominated the first half and Barts (former Hereford United keeper Adam Bartlett) did not have a save to make but, true to form, we still gifted them a goal," said Watson who took over at York early last month.
"In the second half, there was a long spell when we looked a little bit lost and seemed to run out of ideas.
"We were lumping the ball route one and I don't want to play like that.
"Whilst it won't be our best win of the season, it might be the most important because it's like a monkey off our back."
