Probably A Fair Result Said Chorley Manager

Chorley manager Jamie Vermiglio felt that the 1-1 draw at Hereford yesterday was 'probably a fair result'.

"I think on the balance of play it was probably a fair result.

"I thought we started really well, the first twenty minutes we were excellent.

"We scored a good goal in the second half. But obviously last twenty minutes they were going for it.

"I wouldn't say they deserved the goal in chances created but there was certainly a lot of pressure.

"We battled really well but Hereford maybe are in a false position and put us under sustained pressure in going for the equaliser.

"Fair play to him, the lad has scored an absolute 'worldie' of a goal right at the end.

"But it's a good point for us away from home.

"I would just question how many minutes were played over. Some would say that was down to us wasteing a little bit of time, making a substitution.

"We were timing it, it felt like the goal was scored on ninety five and a half minutes.

"As it goes we had three points in the bag but now we've only got a point."
