Hereford and South Herefordshire MP Jesse Norman has been recognised as a 'grassroots football champion' for his work on the government's select committee for sport.
Mr Norman, a Hereford supporter was awarded a doormat by Herefordshire FA Chairman Steve Wilmot at half time in today's game against Billericay Town for his work with the Departure of Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) Select Committee on Grass Roots football.
He has also supported the applications for the proposed 3G football pitches in Hereford.
