We Know It's Frustrating But We'll Sort It Said Richards

Marc Richards says he knows it's a difficult time for Hereford fans at the minute with the Bulls without a league win in 14 games, but there were positives to take from today's 2-2 draw at Darlington.

Hereford were 2-0 up by the 50th minute thanks to two goals from Tom Owen-Evans, but Richards says if you go 2-0 up in a game, you've got to see it out.

"it was pleasing," Richards said.

"It's just frustrating we've been 2-0 up and let it slip. Same mistakes, so some naivety. I'm not going to be happy until we're consistently putting performances together.

"We're still waiting for that illusive win. Again, some positive signs. A big positive from today is Mike Symons."

There has been a lot of criticism from fans over the past week who are getting frustrated with the situation at Edgar Street. Richards said he and his management team understand that and they will sort it.

"We know it's a difficult time, we know there's frustration going on at the moment but we know what we're doing and we will sort it out it," Richards added.

"But ultimately, we're not good enough at the moment and we need to sort that, I'm totally aware of that.

"I think it's six weeks since I've come into the role, there's been some real positive signs but some massive areas for improvement and we need to sort it.

"If you're 2-0 down in a game like they were, they've going to start throwing bodies forward and start risking stuff.

"If you're 2-0 up in a game you've got to see it out and we didn't. We've had words in there (dressing room) and I've said we can't keep making the same mistakes.

"That momentum of football is always hard, it's hard to get up the pitch, just tired legs as well. I'm glad we got a point out of it, but disappointed we didn't get all three."
