Today's Fixtures In The National North

Loanee Kyle Finn Could Start For Hereford This Afternoon
There's a full compliment of fixtures in the National North this afternoon.

Match of the day is at leaders Chorley who lost 3-0 at Stockport last Tuesday and are now just one point ahead of second placed Kidderminster. They play Spennymoor (4th) and will need to be on top form to keep their unbeaten home record.

Kidderminster kept up their challenge for the top spot with a 4-0 win at Leamington last Tuesday. This afternoon they entertain bottom of the league Southport.

Bradford PA (3rd) travel to York (12th). Perhaps surprisingly they could only draw at home with Darlington in mid-week. However York lost 3-0 at Spennymore. A draw looks a distinct possibility.

Another decent looking fixture is at Brackley (5th) where the visitors are Chester (6th), Both won their mid-week games and perhaps this fixture will also finish level.

Boston (7th) and Telford (8th) play at Ashton (19th) and Alfreton (15th) respectively and both away clubs would be expected to pick up three points.

Altrincham (9th) are away at Hereford FC (18th). They have never won or lost at Edgar Street admittedly against Hereford United as opposed to the new club. According to the Alty files, the visitors are expected to be again without James Poole, Sean Williams and Ben Harrison, whilst Liam Goulding has gone out on loan and Tom Peers has moved to FC United of Manchester. But new signing Charlie Scott is likely to feature at some point in the match.

Alty won their mid-week game 4-0 but it was against Nuneaton (21st)

Hereford manager Marc Richards isn't expected to make many, if any, changes from the side that gained a creditable draw at Telford last Tuesday evening.
