Recently appointed FC United of Manchester manager Neil Reynolds was beaming after his side left Edgar Street with a comfortable three points yesterday.
His side cause Hereford countless problems after they got a firm grip on the game after a slow start, and were three goals to the good by the 30th minute.
Reynolds was impressed with how his side stuck to the game plan and structure that he'd put in place.
"I think for the first 15 minutes of the game they came out of the traps quicker than we did," said Reynolds.
"We knew that with a good fan backing and the result they got last week against Alty, we said that if they came out the traps then it's important we retained our shape, 4-3-2-1.
"I said to the lads, once they've had their ten or 15 minutes and the game opens up, we go and impose our style of play. I think we went bang, bang, bang, one, two, three.
"I think it was a great first half performance and that came about from our shape in the first 15 minutes."
Right-back Joel Senior caused problems down the wing, quick to break and take advantage of a shaky Hereford defence.
Reynolds said that it's important to have players in the right places and now where they're going after winning the first ball so they can be dangerous on a counter-attack.
Hereford reverted to a more traditional 4-4-2 formation after half time, as opposed to playing with wing-backs, but Senior still was one of a number of threats Hereford couldn't nullify.
