Purdie retired this summer after qualifying as a firefighter and made over 400 appearances for Hereford United and phoenix club Hereford.

Rob Purdie is set to hold a testimonial dinner in the RE Resource Hereford Suite on Saturday 3rd November.
Come along and enjoy a light-hearted and fun evening hosted by BBC Hereford & Worcester’s Keith Hall, and Rob Purdie himself.
Purdie who retired from football at the end of the 2017/18 season will look back over his Edgar Street career that stretches back over 500 appearances and includes promotions and relegations.

The evening will consist of;
– A sit-down Curry dinner
– Cash prize quiz
– An opportunity to ‘ask anything’ with Rob promising some honest and revealing answers, (now that he can’t be sacked for his replies!)
There will also be the opportunity to win a ticket for Rob’s testimonial match – details to follow!
