Peter Beadle, the former Hereford United and Hereford FC manager, has given a long interview to the Non-League Programme as noted earlier today on BN.
Below is some of what Beadle said.
First he was asked if he had a chance to realise how 'amazing' his time with Hereford FC was.
"I'd never won a championship before and I was given the opportunity with this new club to finish the job that we had started.
"We've enjoyed every moment of it on that journey.
"It's been two weeks yesterday (since Beadle was sacked) and it feels like a month already. But the house is looking tidy and the garden looks great.
"We're ready now to get back into it and stuck into a new challenge hopefully."
Beadle was asked about his sacking.
"It came as a huge shock to be fair, we didn't see it really coming.
"We knew we had been in a tough run of games, the likes of Chorley, Bradford, York and Brackley, teams that had been very successful over the past couple of years.
"We knew when we had come out of that run of games we would either be happy with what we had achieved or knew what may be needed to kick-on.
"We only came away with one point from those games so we knew what we needed to kick on and try and close the gap between us and them.
"We never felt under pressure and never saw it coming. It did come as a huge shock. It's disappointing that we didn't have that chance to carry on.
"The way it was done was hugely disappointing as well, the fact that it was done over the phone, it was disappointing. That probably hurts more than anything after everything that we had done and what we had achieved.
"But it is what it is and now we've had enough of a rest, we ready to get back into it when an opportunity arises.
"In the beginning the club set a target of two promotions in three years. We were very fortunate that we hit the ground running after the first five games in the first season. After that we went on an incredible run.
"We were ahead of schedule."
