Keyon Reffell could be sent for a scan on his foot after he was forced off injured during last week's loss to Bradford (Park Avenue).
The 27-year-old missed yesterday's game against York City as he continues to struggle with soft tissue damage, but feels he's not far away from returning to fitness, according to BBC H&W's Keith Hall.
Pete Beadle hopes that the forward won't be out for too long and the scan will help to determine what's best for his recovery.
"We're trying to get a scan on it to pinpoint it," said Beadle.
"It really is a very difficult injury to try and figure out. There's no bone damage and it's under the foot, so there's not really much soft tissue there.
"We're trying to figure out what the best course of action is, whether it could be an injection or if it's rest or whatever it may be. Hopefully he won't be too long."
Mike Symons is another player currently sidelined through injury, and a number of other players who started yesterday aren't quite right.
"We're not at 100% yet because we haven't got everybody fit, and when we've got Keyon [Reffell] 100% fit, Jennison [Myrie-Williams] 100% fit, Jordan Lam 100% fit, Mike Symons 100% fit, when we start getting everybody 100% fit then the team has a different outlook again a little bit.
"That's not being disrespectful to the players that are playing now, because there's some decent players out there."
