It's Curzon Ashton Tomorrow

Another new ground for Hereford FC tomorrow when the Bulls travel up the M6 for a National North League fixture at Curzon Ashton.

Curzon Ashton FC was formed in 1963 following the amalgamation of two clubs, Curzon Road and Ashton Amateurs. The newly formed club joined the Manchester Amateur League, winning the title twice and finishing runners-up in their first three seasons.

Recently in the 2014/15 season Curzon competed at their highest ever level of the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division, and they confounded the odds when the squad, which had seen very little change in terms of personnel from the previous season, reached the play-offs and, on another never to be forgotten day, beat Ilkeston 1-0 in the final after knocking out neighbours Ashton United in a penalty shoot out in the semi-final.

The win meant that Curzon took another step up the non-league ladder with promotion to the Vanarama National League North, and successive promotions for the only the second time in their history to put them at their highest ever level in the football pyramid.

In the following season, Curzon Ashton FC finished in eleventh place in the Vanarama National League North. This achievement was the highest the club has ever achieved.

Last season they finished 18th.

The Tameside Stadium has been the home of Curzon Ashton football Club since 2005. The ground has two covered stands and is fully terraced on all four sides. It currently holds the FA 'B' Grading. Capacity of the ground is 4,000 with 527 seats.

A variety of hot and cold food and drink is available from the Snack Bar before, during and after each game. The Sports Bar serves a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks and is open to all visitors before, during and after games.

Free car parking is available with six disables spaces. There is also a large 'Over-Spill' car park located on the left at the beginning of the approach road to the stadium.
