York City manager Martin Gray has wants his side to be the fittest in the National League North and to stop dropping points in the last 20 minutes of games. According to the York Press, the Minstermen dropped 12 points from the 71st-minute onwards in games last season meaning they finished 11th instead of a possible play-off place.

Chester's pre-season friendly against Liverpool next Saturday is heading for a sell-out. Tickets went on general sale on Wednesday and now only a few terrace tickets remain. Chester will receive 100% of the gate receipts with chairman David Harrington-Wright telling the Chester Chronicle it's a great gesture from Liverpool and that the two clubs have a great relationship.

Boston United have made their eighth signing of the summer, securing the services of midfielder Spencer Harris. Harris arrives from Shaw Lane, a former club of Boston manager Craig Elliott. The 27-year-old has previously played for Huddersfield Town, Guiseley, Buxton, Farsley Celtic and Hyde United and will provide good competition in the middle of the park.

Salford City have signed a player they think has a huge future as defender James Jones moves from Chester. In a statement, Salford say the expect Jones to shine in the future and they fought off competition from a number of clubs for his signature. The 19-year old was selected for Jamie Vardy's V9 Academy earlier this summer which aims to highlight non-league talent.

Nuneaton Borough have signed former Swansea City and Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Kemy Agustien. The Netherlands Antilles-born CuraƧao international spent two seasons in the Premier League with Swansea (including a loan spell at Crystal Palace) before moving to Brighton in the Championship. He told the club's official website that he knows some of the coaching staff from his time at the Swans and looks forward to playing in the UK again.
