Striker Macaulay Langstaff is delighted to be joining a 'massive football club' after signing for York City from National League outfit Gateshead - the fourth player to make the switch this summer. Langstaff spent 18 months at The Heed but told York's official YouTube channel that everyone he spoke to said good things about York and the move is a new challenge for the 21-year old. 

Barrow's managing director has told the North West Evening Mail the club are interested in former Bull Kingsley James after he spent the latter part of last season on loan at The Bluebirds. As a result of Chester's financial issues, James was shipped out on loan, but Barrow's chief scout is looking at him returning. 

League Two side Stevenage have completed the signing of midfielder Emmanuel Sonupé from Kidderminster HarriersThe 22-year old scored 15 times last season as Kiddy made it to the National League North play-offs.

Former Bull Chris Sharp has signed for Curzon Ashton following his release from fellow National League North side Alfreton Town. When the signing was announced at the end of May, manager John Flanagan told the club's official website he's had his eye on Sharp as he's a big lad, powerful, aggressive and deceptively quick.
Meanwhile, work on the club's new 3G surface is underway and the club say it's on track to be ready for the start of the season.
