Peter Davies, a lifelong Hereford fan and membership secretary of the Hereford United Supporters Trust has passed away after a short ilness.
HUST confirmed the news this morning and said Peter had been a 'mainstay of the Trust since its resurgence in 2015'. They said his contribution towards the running of the organisation has been immense and his humour at their board meetings will be something everyone will sorely miss.
The statement from HUST was one of Peter's suggestions - saying that "there will be people in nearby seats wondering where I am next season."
The funeral will take place next Wednesday 27th June at the Old Parish Church, in Llandrindod Wells, at 2:30pm.
