Bowen Moves To Leamington

James Bowen has signed for Leamington.

This from Leamington FC:

The 22 year old can operate on the left side of defence or midfield, and finished last season with Hereford FC. Having started the season with the Bulls, who will be opponents this season in the National League North, James was snapped up by Solihull Moors in October but a managerial change eventually saw him return to Edgar Street to help Peter Beadle's side to the Southern League title.

James began his career at Cheltenham Town, where he made several appearances for the Robins' first team before loan spells at Bishops Cleeve, Evesham United, Gloucester City and Hereford. After his release from Cheltenham he spent a season at Stafford Rangers in the Northern Premier League.

On his latest recruit, Paul Holleran had this to say: 'I'm delighted to get James on board. Being able to get another left footed player in the squad was important. He is a versatile, energetic player who like the majority of our squad is still at a young age with plenty of potential. His delivery is good and I believe he will be a massive asset for us this season.'
