Former Hereford United player Tom Barkhuizen is being touted as a possible payer for the South African national team.
Barkhuizen would qualify as despite being born in Blackpool he has a South African grandfather.
Now 24, Barkhuizen was a regular in the Preston team last season scoring eight goals in 46 starts.
He played for Hereford, on loan from Blackpool. during the 2011/12 season.
