Southern League Play-Off Final Today

Hereford FC will find out who is being promoted with them from the Southern League later this afternoon.

King's Lynn play Slough in the Southern Premier League play-off final at King's Lynn.

Should King's Lynn be promoted they would play in National North next season whereas Slough would play in National South.

Slough's joint manager Neil Baker knows it will take a real performance from his side to defeat Lynn.

"We have been to Kings Lynn three times and we’ve lost three times, so we’re underdogs, absolutely no question there.

“Kings Lynn had a comfortable 3-0 win against a very good Weymouth side on Wednesday, but we will go there and have a real go."

Cameron King, the King's Lynn player, seems confident of victory.

"Slough will be massive,” said King. “We had a tough game against them when we drew 2-2 a few weeks back... a technical side, it will be a football game. We are looking forward to it and we will be ready for it."

He went on to note that they had defeated title holders Hereford twice this season.

"We can take anyone on out day, even Hereford if they were in the play-offs.

"We would completely fancy playing them again – we beat them twice. We would be happy for anyone in this league to come here - with the crowd we get, the atmosphere we create we know we can do the job."
