Hereford FC's Dara O'Shea (top right on team picture) is expected to captain the Republic of Ireland Under 19 in their fixture against Portugal tomorrow (Tuesday) evening.
If they win it's likely that will be enough to take their place in the 2018 UEFA Under-19 European Championship in Finland later this year.
O'Shea's team have played two games so far.
On Saturday they defeated Kosovo 3-0 and last Wednesday they draw 1-1 with Slovakia.
O'Shea is expected back in the UK on Wednesday and should be available for selection for Hereford's game against Royston on Saturday.
