Slough joint manager Neil Baker has said that he thinks his clubs chances of winning the Southern Premier League title 'have gone'.
“I don’t think we’re in good enough form anyway. Our home record hasn’t been bad, but we’re under no illusions that we haven’t been playing as well as we were."
However Baker feels Slough still have a chance of promotion through the play-offs. Currently, despite having played several less games than all the clubs around them, they have a return of exactly two points per game.
"Our main aim is to get in the play-offs and cement ourselves in that, but it will be a battle for that as well, and we have to realise that.
“But, we’ve got plenty of games to do it.”
Tomorrow Slough travel to Kings Langley and should take all three points to keep up their promotion challenge.
