This afternoon sees the rescheduled fixture between Biggleswade Town and Hereford at Edgar Street.
Hereford can close the gap to just one point at the top of the table with leaders Kings Lynn not playing until next weekend. The Bulls won 2-0 against Bishop's Stortford at Edgar Street in mid-week.
Goals from Jamie Bird and Lance Smith confirmed what turned out to be quite a comfortable win after the away side were reduced to 10 men early into the second half.
New signing James Bowen, now into his third spell at Edgar Street, started the game over Cameron Pring at left back while Garyn Preen replaced the injured Pablo Haysham in midfield.
After not playing consistently at Solihull, Bowen put in an impressive display at the back for what was his first start in several weeks and would be thought to start again this weekend. The Bulls may well line up with the same formation they finished the game with on Tuesday night. This saw Keyon Reffell feature out wide where he was more effective.
Biggleswade Town had a midweek break from league action as they won the first ever "Carlsberg Derby" on Tuesday night. The Waders beat Biggleswade FC 5-3 on penalties to book their place in the County Cup final.
Town sit 14th in the league with their last match being a 2-1 defeat at home to Basingstoke. They face a few tricky fixtureswith 5th placed Slough the visitors to The Carlsberg Stadium on Tuesday. A side that is short on goals, being one of the divisions lowest scoring teams, really will find it tricky this weekend.
