John Mills felt his knee during the game against Bishop's Stortford last Tuesday. |
Hereford FC striker John Mills is set to have a scan tomorrow.
"We don't know the extent of his injury yet," said manager Peter Beadle yesterday.
"He's going for a scan on Monday, precautionary of course.
"He's felt his knee for a couple of weeks, a twinge in his knee.
"It's got to a point now where it's uncomfortable for him.
"So we'll get him scanned on Monday and hopefully we'll get the rport back pretty quick and we'll know what we are dealing with.
"It might be that he needs a rest.
"He's played a lot of games and he's upped the ante certainly since Christmas. He's upped the ante and put in an awful lot of work for us this year. There aren't many games he's missed.
"Apart from the first game when he was on the bench he played nearly every game so he's put a lot of work in this year.
"Maybe he just needs a rest. I hope that might be the case in which case he has a rest today and this week.
"But we'll see. It's most important we get him scanned on Monday.
