After Tuesday’s 2-0 win at a chilly Edgar Street, Hereford manager Pete Beadle said it’s the three points that are the most important.
He told BBC H&W’s reporter Keith Hall that it's the three points that matter, not how many goals are scored.
"It was frustrating at times because we want to do so well. The lads got the job done. There's only ever three points on offer at every game and we've done that tonight. Delighted that we've got the three points on the board.
"As always with these games, people expect us to rattle in half a dozen or so more and sometimes it doesn't work like that. We were a bit frustrated with the first half, but second half they were much better.
"Tempo was better, got the goal then a second and then could've had a couple more but it wasn't to be. Whether it's two or six it doesn't matter, it's still only three points."
Beadle also said that that it’s not always going to be amazing football to watch.
"It's never always going to be champagne football, but at times second half we created some good opportunities, and the football leading up to them was really good.
"The difference is we didn't have the end product, but the rest of it was good. Nice, strong and solid at the back and back to a clean sheet which is good."
