Farnborough manager Spencer Day said that it had been a 'crazy game' this afternoon. Farnborough were reduced to ten men after
Lewis Ferrell threw a flare back at the away supporters.
"We came with a game plan to frustrate them but Hereford were the better side overall," said Day in his post match video.
"They'll win it, they brought a fantastic group of fans except for a couple of idiots.
"But we gave them a game.
"We played thirty minutes with ten men which was ridiculous, silly thing to do from Lewis Ferrell.
"I'm proud of the fact we gave it a really good go.
"But each goal was poor from our perspective.
"Hereford, I'm sure, will go on and win it and I wish them all the best.
"They had a lot of the ball and we struggled to create an awful lot.
"The red card killed the game. We were playing with ten men against a fantastic team, the quality they've got, the strength they've got.
"Our first home defeat in seven against a fantastic club."
