Hereford venture across the border into Wales on Boxing Day as they face Merthyr Town in the league.
As reported by Bulls News over the past couple of months, financial issues have surfaced at Penydarren Park, with the fan-owned club £90,000 in debt. This has resulted in a number of experienced players leaving the club, including former-Bull Stuart Fleetwood.
The Martyr's player-manager Gavin Williams, who is the only member of the playing squad under contract, will be a familiar face to most Hereford fans. The 37-year old midfielder made 168 appearances for Hereford United between 1996 and 2002.
Like the Bulls, Merthyr are a phoenix club, reforming in 2010 after being liquidated in the same year. Their first season saw home games played 20 miles away from Penydarren Park, but they returned in the summer of 2011.
Currently with Merthyr are Oliver Davies and Harry Franklin, two names familiar to Hereford fans. Davies joined the Bulls in the summer, but his stay was short-lived. He reportedly left to trial with Yeovil, and received an offer from Newport, but quickly returned to the Valleys club.
Young midfielder Harry Franklin joined on loan last week, with Merthyr's football secretary Jamie Mack telling Bulls News, the deal is for as long as Hereford are happy for him to stay there.
In their recent outings, Merthyr have 'rested' a number of their more experienced players, something Pete Beadle picked up on in his interview after Saturday's match.
Beadle told the press: "It will be interesting to see what team they've played today as when they played Basingstoke they left a lot of their main players out.
"So it will be interesting to see who they've played to see if they are saving them for the game against us. It's their choice but maybe it's not the way to do things when you are are competing in the league. You should play your strongest side every week.
"If the players are available then you should play them to pick up as many points as they can between now and the end of the season."
With Tyrone Duffus, Calvin Dinsley and Mike Symons all picking up knocks in Saturday's 3-1 win at Chesham, changes will be forced on Hereford. It's likely that Pablo Haysham, Jamie Bird and Lance Smith will take their places, with Bird especially looking bright after coming on - scoring twice and hitting the post.
Bulls News will have updates on Twitter, along with Hereford Goals.
Don't forget it's a slightly earlier kick off at 1pm, with the match all ticket for away fans. There's no parking at the ground, so fans are advised to park in the town centre and walk up to the ground - link.
Hereford supporters will get access to the ground via the turnstiles at the front of the main building, using the walk way behind the Grandstand, and then proceed to the Theatre End. There will also be a temporary bar in place.
