News Round Up


After manager Tim Harris quit Gloucester City two weeks ago, chairman of 27-years Mike Dunstan has also resigned. In a statement, Dunstan said it was a 'heartbreaking' decision, but it's been a 'an honour and a privilege' to chair the club.

Fleetwood Town's game against Peterborough United has been moved back a day due to the FA Cup replay at Hereford on Thursday 14th. Hereford also moved their fixture from the Saturday.

Salisbury and Bideford are facing an investigation after their league game was abandoned last Saturday after 43 minutes. With both sides down to ten men, a 'disturbance' occurred and continued as Bideford's Billy Tucker left the field. The referee subsequently abandoned the match.

Former Hereford United defender Rod McDonald is facing interest from League One clubs MK Dons and Shrewsbury Town. The 25-year old is currently with Coventry City, with the Daily Mail claiming: "Championship sides are also following his progress as they ponder a January bid for the defender."

Kings Langley have parted company with manager Paul Hobbs and his assistant Andy Stratford. Until a successor is found, head coach Steve Conroy will take charge of first team matters.
