Defender Jack Deaman scored one of Hereford's four goals this afternoon. Afterwards he spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We've obviously had a lot of Cup games recently but the League is still our main priority," said Deaman.
"It was important after that little break that we came back and got a win on the board."
Several top sides lost today so Hereford have made up some ground on the leaders.
"Some of the boys said as we came in that there had been some defeats for the teams around us so with us winning today that's good news going forward.
"I think as a team we are very much a squad so we know that people will come in and out but I think whoever comes in obviously fits in straight away because we have that unity which is what we need.
"It was a bit of a slow start from us today, disappointing that they got a goal as our platform is to keep clean sheets especially as defenders but I felt as a team we knew we would be able to get back into it and get some goals and push on to win the game.
"Everyone knows that Fleetwood is around the corner but the League is our main priority and everyone is switched on and knew that was what we had to do today.
"I don't think people expected us to do as well in the Cup so that is an added bonus. It's great for the fans, it's great for the players.
"The fans were brilliant away at Fleetwood and I'm sure they will be on Thursday but the League is our main priority. We want to get out of this league, get another promotion under our belts and what comes with the Cup comes with the Cup."
As well as the FA Cup replay next Thursday, there the FA Trophy the following Sunday.
"You look at the Trophy as a better competition in the terms of where we can progress with it. The FA Cup is a magical competition so that's everyones focus now with Thursday but we want to progress in the FA Trophy as well."
