Potters Bar: Is that your final answer?

The Potters Bar Town manager Steve Ringrose has likened his sides chances in tomorrow’s FA Trophy tie to that of a Who Wants to be a Millionaire contestant.
Speaking to the Welwyn & Hatfield Times the Scholars boss said, “With any draw you always want to be at home but if you get drawn away, then it might as well be against the cream of the crop.
“It’s like going on Who Wants to be a Millionaire. If you asked me if I had a chance of winning the million, I would say no. But, there’s always that chance.
“Preparation is paramount. It’s important that the players are focused on what they are there for. It will be interesting. Some of our lads will never have experienced anything like it, but if we do it right, who knows?”
In the FA Cup last season the Scholars gained a replay against Bath City and won the return match. Ringrose is hoping to repeat that feat at Edgar Street tomorrow. However, he appreciates the size of the task in hand.
“[Hereford] are a league club in all but name, and if they put their house in order they can achieve their goals. They are putting themselves back on the map.”
Potters Bar Town will arrive at Edgar Street on the back of a four match unbeaten run, although they lie 5 places below AFC Hornchurch who were beaten by the Bulls in the FA Cup earlier this season. The Bostik League North Division side are 11 points behind leaders Dereham Town, but with the re-organisation of the pyramid season this term they are hopeful of a play-off place.
The former Aylesbury United and Hanwell striker Eoin Casey leads the line having scored 14 goals already this term, including a hat-trick against Ware in the Velocity League Cup. However, he saw a penalty saved last time out in Tuesday’s 2-2 home draw with Cheshunt.
Tickets are on-sale at Edgar Street via the club shop during normal opening hours, and online. Kick-off tomorrow at 3pm.
