After Hereford's 5-2 win over Stratford Town, manager Peter Beadle spoke to the local media.
"The lads were brilliant," said Beadle.
"We just said in there that we were superb for 45 minutes and then it was difficult second half to try and keep it going as they came out a bit more motivated.
"Conditions were difficult with the wind.
"It got interesting towards the end when they got their couple of goals."
Hereford were 4-0 ahead at half time. But Stratford scored twice in the second half before Hereford added a fifth.
"I said to them if we can't keep it flowing as it will be difficult in the wind lets keep a clean sheet and it didn't quite happen.
"Three points in the bag against a decent side. We're on a bit of a roll now, momentum is good and our attacking play is good and for 75 minutes our defence was pretty good as well.
"I thought the whole first half we were good. We started great, got on the front foot really early, won a corner really early, looked threatening from set pieces.
"I thought we were great second half on Saturday and really good in the first half again tonight. We've got players in the team who will score goals and it's given them the confidence to do what we did today which is to get shots off from distance, the surface was quick. I yhought all five goals were good goals.
"It was a great spell but it happens sometimes you get one and then a couple more fairly quick."
Garyn Preen scored twice and won the sponsors man of the match.
"He started slowly but the last three games he's looked more like himself and the type of player we thought we were bringing to the club. That will do him a load of good, three games on the bounce he's played really well and scored in two of the games. It will do his confidence the world of good. It will keep the momentum going for him which is important. He's done fine.
"It's the FA Cup on Saturday then Westfields on Wednesday in the HFA cup then another game Saturday and a trip on Wednesday then another on the Saturday.
"The fixtures are coming thick and fast but it's ideal as it gives us a chance to give players some game time.
"We'll hopefully have Lance Smith available for Saturday but it will be tough for him to get into the team. Wednesday will be a great opportunity to give people like that some minutes to get them playing and some decent game time under their belts.
"We asked about Gethin (Hill) for the last round (of the FA Cup) and were told no. We'll ask again this week if he is available for Saturday but that is highly unlikely.
"We're delighted Dara (O'Shea) is available as he's shown himself tonight to be quite accomplished and he had a good performance in what I thought was a decent display from the back five at times except near the end.
"We've got a bit of momentum going at the moment. Those players in the team at the moment are doing really well so it's important they keep their confidence up. We don't want to change it around too much if we can, we might have to change Gethin on Saturday if he's not available.
"If we don't have to change it too much then we will not. If can keep putting out our strongest team, those sat on the sidelines will have to wait for their opportunity. That's what makes the competition better and that's what make players better. They know if they don't perform well there are people there chomping at the bit to get in the team.
"We had Kempston watched on Saturday so we've got a fair idea of what we're going to come up against, we think.
"They've played I think the top four teams in their division and they've only lost by the odd goal. They are not particularily high in the league but they've had a tough start.
"They lost by a goal very late at Hartley Witney on Saturday so we know it's going to be a tough game so like always we must go there, don't take any chances, play the team we think will win the game and do the job properly."
