Beadle Expected To Make Changes For Westfields Tonight

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that defeated Kempston last Saturday for tonight's HFA Challenge Cup tie at Westfields.

He will aim to give those players who haven't had much game time recently the chance to gain match fitness.

"The game has come at a great time for us in that it gives us an opportunity to give players minutes," said Beadle.

Adam Page, Lance Smith and Rob Purdie came off the bench last Saturday.

"We wanted to get Adam on the pitch as soon as we could to get him involved quickly and Lance (Smith) as well to get some minutes under his belt. And Purds has been chomping at the bit to get in and do well.

"Simmo could do with another run out as well, maybe one or two others as well."

New signing Jamie Bird is likely to start.

"He's chomping at the bit to get a game so we can play him on Wednesday."

Jack Deaman, who has missed several games with injury recently, is another player who might get a start. Bradley Williams may also feature.

However several younger players in Beadle's squad may not take part as they involved in the FA Youth Cup tie last Monday which went to extra-time.

Kick off is at 7.45pm.

Admission: Adults £7, Concessions £5, Under 16's £1

Extra parking will be available close to the ground on Widemarsh Common for £1 with the proceeds going to Lads Club.

Radio Hereford FC are set to have full commentary from the game.
