Moses Ashikodi Signing An Autograph At Elland Road In September 2008 |
Former Hereford United striker Moses Ashikodi has been accused of hitting a supporter over a row about a mobile phone according to the Daily Mirror.
Ashikodi currently plays for Three Bridges who play in the Southern Combination.
In a recent game against Eastbourne, the supporter had been using his phone to film an 'altercation' when Ashikodi is reported to have hit the fan whilst taking the phone off him. The supporter then ran on the pitch to get his phone back.
Later the film was posted on Twitter.
Ashikodi started his career at Millwall and came to Edgar Street on loan from Watford in August 2008. An injury curtailed his appearances but he did score against Leyton Orient in the League Cup. He returned to Watford in early January 2009.
