Uncertainty At Worcester Continues

In what league Worcester City will play next season remains uncertain. Last week they were relegated from the National North league and so, in theory, are destined for a place in either the Southern Premier League or the Northern Premier League.

However speculation continues with several players reportedly suggesting it will be the Midland Premier League, the one in which Hereford FC played in their first season.

Worcester's directors have yet to publically comment but joint manager John Snape has told the Worcester News that the club needs to make a decision.

"I think there will be developments over the next week,” Snape said.

“I don’t know the level we are going to play at.

“I know we have got a structure in place for several different levels and different scenarios that we have agreed with the board, so we know what we are working with in terms of finances.

“We need to (get it resolved) as the fixtures are coming out and we want to crack on.”
