Kevin Rose

Kevin Rose was the special guest during yesterdays game with Barnstaple. I caught up with him before kick off, and we spoke about his time at Edgar Street. Rose made 253 consecutive league appearances from 1983-1989, and if you include cup matches it was 326 games in a row.


Rose was in goal when Hereford played Arsenal in 1985. Whilst being 1-0 down he made a crucial save from Paul Mariner. You can watch the highlights below. A young Tony Adams played in the Arsenal defence that afternoon.
