No decision appears to have been made by the Southern League about what happens after a game between Bridgwater and Larkhall was abandoned back in January. Some sources still say it was abandoned because of fog.
A player was left with multiple injuries according to the Bath Chronicle dated January 25th.
Appalled Phil Bater described
the scenes that saw Larkhall Athletic's game at Bridgwater Town
abandoned and his son left with multiple injuries as "unpalatable".
The Evo-Stik League Southern game at Fairfax Park was abandoned with five minutes to play and the Larks 4-0 ahead after a mass brawl erupted, which left Geraint Bater with multiple injuries.
The Plain Ham club had looked well set to end a nine-game winless run, until Geraint was allegedly elbowed by a Bridgwater player, sparking a melee on the pitch.
He was left on the floor with what turned out to be fractures to facial bones, as members of both teams joined the scrap.
