Beadle To Select Edge In Place Of McGrath?

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle is expected to select Jamie Edge in place of Mike McGrath for tomorrow's South and West match at Slimbridge.

Edge has been kept out of the starting eleven recently as Beadle has gone with the midfield partnership of McGrath and the experienced Rob Purdie.

However McGrath picked up his tenth booking of the season last Saturday against Tiverton at Edgar Street and as well as missing tomorrow's game will also miss next Saturday's home game against Wimborne.

Otherwise Beadle will probably decide to stick with the same players who have started last Saturday. However he will be aware that Slimbridge is quite a small ground and with the rain that is forecast might be quite sticky tomorrow.

Slimbridge are currently 18th in the table with just three home wins to date. Last Saturday they lost 3-1 at North Leigh.

Their manager Freddy Ward was put in charge just three weeks ago after a short spell as caretaker manager.

Before becoming manager he was assistant to previous manager Leon Stirling for 330 games

His career with Slimbridge started in August 2003 and he made 412 first team appearances for the Swans.
