Head Shaving For Charity At Edgar Street

Hereford FC Supporter and female footballer Julie Nicholas was diagnosed with breast cancer in September, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.

Since her diagnosis Julie has launched a campaign called 'it's not always a lump'. She hopes her campaign will encourage females to examine their breasts on a regular basis.

To show support for her hair loss, four of her friends, Marcie Furness, Karen Hackley, Etty Greenhouse and Jayne Limb had their heads shaved on the Edgar Street pitch yesterday during half time in the Evesham game.

Julie is raising funds for CoppaFeel, The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, Little Princess Trust and the Macmillian Renton unit of Hereford County Hospital. A Facebook page called "My Cancer 2016" has been set up to promote the fund raising.
