Preview Hereford v Bideford November 5th 2016

Dan Hillstead looks forward to tomorrow's game at Edgar Street:

Hereford FC vs Bideford AFC - 5th November 2016

Hereford FC welcome Bideford AFC on Saturday looking to extend their winning streak to three games, whilst also aiming to maintain their unbeaten status in the league.
Central defender,Mark Preece, could make his debut for the Bulls after serving his suspension, which stopped him playing on Tuesday night. Preece has over 300 appearances at higher levels of non-league football.
Ryan Green is also available for selection, after serving his suspension for the red card he picked up at home against Didcot two weeks ago.
Jimmy Oates and Captain Joel Edwards are expected to start as full backs. The pair filled in at the heart of Hereford’s defence on Tuesday night against Larkhall and both looked solid.
John Mills will be looking to keep his average of a goal per game in the league going. The striker scored on Tuesday, to take his goal tally to 14 from 14 and 23 goals in all competitions.
Pablo Haysham and Mike Symons are also in good goal scoring form. Haysham has two in his last two matches and was man of the match on Tuesday, whilst Symons has netted 3 times in his last 3 games.
Bideford come to Edgar Street in good away form, having won two in a row on their travels, including an impressive 4-0 victory away at Wimbourne Town in their last outing.
Having only lost one game in six and being a four game unbeaten run in the league, the Robins will certainly fancy themselves to cause an upset on Saturday afternoon.
The form of striker, Billy Tucker, has aided the Robins recent form with the pacey striker scoring 6 goals in his last 6 games, including a brace against Taunton in the Southern League cup.
Experienced striker, Kevin Squire, will be hoping he can continue his recent goal scoring form aswell. The 36 year old who has played over 270 games for Bideford has scored two in his last two games.
Bideford do have goals throughout their team, with midfielders Dan Western and Matt Andrew scoring five and four respectively, this season. Right back, Jamie Richard, has chipped in with 4 this season including a 30 yard free kick against Salisbury.
The North Devonshire club have only managed to keep one clean sheet in the league all season. That came last time out in that 4-0 win away at Wimbourne and Robin’s keeper, Josh Colwill, will be expecting a busier Saturday afternoon against the Bulls.
Manager Sean Joyce has been in charge of Bideford for over 16 years. He led his side to the Southern League South and West title in 2012, but the Robins were relegated from the Southern Premier last season.
Bideford have struggled against teams higher than them in the table. Four of their five defeats have come against top six teams. The Robins have lost to Mangotsfield United, Tiverton Town, Evesham United and Shortwood United.
Second place Tiverton are hosting third place Shortwood on Saturday meaning if circumstances go the Bulls way they could further extend their 7 point lead at the top.
A win for Bideford would keep them ahead of teams below that have games in hand on them and depending on results would put them four points off the play offs.
