Hereford Expected To Be Without Top Scorer Mills This Evening

Hereford FC are expected to be without top scorer John Mills for the game at Mangotsfield this evening.

Mills is recovering from a ham-string strain and isn't expected to be risked until 100% fit.

"We want him back as quickly as possible but fully fit not 70% fit as with hamstrings we know they are delicate things and if it was to go again or wasn't quite right he could make it worse. So we want him back 100% not 70%," said manager Peter Beadle after last Saturday's game.

No fresh injury concerns have been reported but with three difficult games in the next seven days, Mangotsfield, Salisbury and North Leigh, Beadle may consider some rotation of available players.

Right back Jimmy Oates who appears fully fit after injury will be hoping for a start but should Beadle select him it is difficult to know who he will leave out of the back four of Green, Preece, Fortune and Edwards who kept a clean sheet against AFC Totton last Saturday.

Likewise for Jamie Edge who is struggling to regain his place in the starting eleven after Rob Purdie and Mike McGrath have combined well recently in mid-field.

Last Saturday Pablo Haysham was given a role alongside striker Mike Symons instead of playing in the left wing position. Beadle commented afterwards that 'it will take him a little while to get used to playing in there again'.

Whether Beadle will keep Haysham upfront or possibly give Jamie Molyneux the chance to play in that position remains to be seen.
