It Was A Complete Performance Said Beadle

A delighted Peter Beadle spoke to the media after his side's 3-0 win at Swindon Supermarine. Firstly Keith Hall asked him whether it had been the most accomplished performance this season.

"Yes, by far," said the Hereford manager.

"We spoke after the game on Saturday and speaking before the game tonight about getting back to game like we had at Shortwood where I thought we played a similar performance but I thought tonight was better.

"And it was a complete performance and, as always, my one gripe was that it should have been more then three.

"The lads were fantastic, they adjusted as we changed things around a little bit. They adjusted to it and I just thought the tempo from the first minute was fantastic, the way we worked hard to stop them from playing, because they are a good side. They've scored ten goals in their last two games, they are a decent outfit but I thought we completely snuffed them out tonight first half and then at half time the challenge was could we do it again second half and I thought we did.

"If Pablo slots it across the goal for Mike, may be we would get the second half off and then everyone can relax a little bit more but it took a litle bit longer to get that third goal but throughout the second half I just thought we dominated all areas of the pitch."

Jimmy Oates partnered Ryan Green at the heart of defence with new signing Adam Davies at right back.
Debut For Adam Davies And An Assist For Hereford's First Goal
"It worked really well. Chris rolled his ankle right on Saturday so he wasn't quite right so I felt that having Jimmy in there would give us a bit athleicism and a bit more mobility and that proved the case. And Adam, he's a good footballer, slotted in perfectly and has made a great debut and an assist for the first goal. I thought he was pretty solid throughout the game.

"We just talked about the combinations across the pitch, like the two centre-halves were really good tonight, Adam and Tristan were really good together as a pair, Calvin and Macco were superb as a pair and the front two actually linked up as a pair which was astonising. I don't think they talk to each other most of the week but they were great and on the left side Pablo and Joel equally as good. So great combinations.

"Players will always stand out. Millsy stands out for his goals, Symo for his competive style, Pablo for his great feet but they can't do it without the rest of the team, Tonight was more about the team than the individuals.

"We know Jimmy is a good defender and can slot anywhere across the back four and will do a good job and he's done that tonight. Although they played superbly it doesn't surprise me because I know what they are capable of and we talked about the game about why do I get so frustrated and annoyed with them at times, it's because they drop below standard they set, not me, they always set the standard.

"So now going into the next game, we've got a week to work hard and get ready for next Tuesday.

"It would be nice to put one of those performances in at home when we totally dominate and win the game comfortably and play with that purpose and tempo for the full ninety minutes. I think we've done it in spells but never the whole period."

Ryan Green will miss the next game against Larkhall.

"We've put the appeal in but I think, don't quote me on this, it hasn't been successful.

"There wasn't enough evidence apparantly. So he'll miss one game which will be Larkhall.

"So we'll have to shuffle again."
