Hargreaves To Manage Rovers Under 21's

Former Hereford United midfielder Chris Hargreaves has been appointed to take charge of Bristol Rovers Under 21's.

Hargreaves has all three main recognised UEFA qualifications. He spent a four-year spell as Exeter City's Under 16 coach whilst still playing for Torquay United. He managed Exeter City's youngsters for two years after retiring before moving to Bournemouth as their Under 21 manager. Hargreaves progressed to become one of Eddie Howe's first-team backroom team and was part of the coaching staff that secured promotion to the Championship in 2013.

Later he was appointed manager of Torquay but quit in the spring of 2015.

Hargreaves played for Hereford from February 1996 until the end of the 1997/98 season.
