We Were Exceptional Last Night Said Beadle

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle felt last night's performance at Shortwood was exceptional.

"Shortwood I think they'll be a strong team in the top eight or nine," Beadle told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's always been a difficult place to go to.

"Whether it is everyone is getting used to the new season but that's normally what pre-seasons are for. We didn't seem to be quite be where we wanted to be.

"But in the last two games we've been far closer to where I want to be.

"The game last night showed that, we had the lion's share of possession and we moved it extremely well.

"We eventually wore them down and our superiority told in the end. The performance was much, much better.

"May be the changes have helped us a little bit as well. We've looked a little bit more balanced with Ryan back into the team and obviously Rob and Chris moving to the left and Tristam coming in.

"We have looked far more balanced.

"You can say it's that, you can say they've just clicked. It's one of them.

"I wasn't happy with their performance and we won both games. So it just shows what I expect for them and sometimes maybe I do demand a bit too much from them especially the first couple of games but certainly Saturday and last night I thought we were exceptional in every aspect of our play."
