Bishops Cleeve At Edgar Street This Afternoon

Bishops Cleeve make their first ever visit to Edgar Street this afternoon for a Southern League South and West fixture.

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle could make one or two changes for the game.

After Saturday's game at Barnstaple, Beadle hinted that defender Joel Edwards might be in contention for a place in the matchday squad if not in the starting eleven. Edwards has been suffering with a couple of niggling injuries.

"He might come into the picture on Monday," said Beadle.

Aaron Birch, who was dropped to the bench on Saturday, could be recalled. If so he might replace Rob Purdie.

Chris Parry is also awaiting his debut for the club.

Bishop Cleeve won their game against AFC Totton 3-2 on Saturday. However the visitors were reduced to ten men when Jake Burgess was sent off on 72 minutes. It was Cleeve's first victory of the campaign. Currently they are 17th in the table.

Being Bank Holiday Monday and with a forecast of a dry, bright day, Hereford are expecting their highest gate of the season to date. The first two league games had very similar gates of 2588 and 2593.

As of last night blocks B and C were already sold out. The ticket office will be open from 10am.

The advice to supporters is to get to the ground in reasonable time.
