Hereford FC chairman Jon Hale gave his reaction to BBC Hereford and Worcester after his club were beaten 4-1 by Morpeth in this afternoon's FA Vase final at Wembley.
"I'm massively proud of the whole club, massively proud of the team, they been absolutely superb," says Hale.
"They've got nothing to be upset about, disappointed of course because they've just lost a final.
"They got to Wembley in the first place, they've got us promotion and twelve months ago we had nothing.
"So massively proud of what they've done and the management team has done.
"Disappointed but we'll bounce back from that.
"We knew that the Northern League have got a very good record in this competition. We've watched them and we knew they were a strong side with a lot of experience in their side and I think we saw that today.
"After our early goal they bounced back and got into the game and once they settled they probably controlled the rest of the game.
"No complaints over the score, they fully deserved it, they're a very impressive outfit.
"We've had a fantastic day out here, everybody has been treated superbly well, the players have loved the experience, of course they are disappointed but they got to the final in the first place and that involved a lot of games when they played extremely well.
"It hasn't quite worked out today but I just said to them they've got to get their chins up as they walk out of this stadium because they should be very very proud of what they've done."
