Beadle - One Eye On The Vase

Hereford FC's next game is the Midland League Cup Final at Solihull next Tuesday Evening and manager Peter Beadle said yesterday that there is great competition for places to start that game.

"Fantastic competition for places." said Beadle.

"Obviously we'll have one eye on the Vase being ten days after.

"There are a lot of lads their chomping at the bit to get on the games. I gave James and Muss a start (yesterday) and I thought they both did okay.

"I thought James did really well, Muss again he's still not quite right yet but he's not far off. You see little signs of him coming back so that's good.

"There will be a few more changes no doubt for the game against Walsall Wood on the 10th. Again a team that I feel will win the game."

Beadle was asked about Jamie Willets who had an x-ray last weekend. He hopes to resume training this coming weekend.

"If he is great, if not we're not going to rush him. We need to get him on the pitch as soon as possible, as soon as he is fit because the more days he misses not doing any work the rustier he gets.

"Great news that he came back from the hospital on Saturday and there was no break there, it was just an impact injury like we thought. He's just got to be patient and let it settle down and when he's ready he'll be back in training."
