Hereford FC will become Midland Premier League champions around 9.35pm this evening if they defeat Coventry Sphinx at Sphinx Drive.
Even if the Bulls draw and Alvechurch draw at Sporting Khalsa, the Bulls will be crowned.
However should Hereford be defeated and Alvechurch draw then, in theory, Alvechurch could still top the league provided they win all their remaining matches, Hereford lose all theirs and Church turn around their 33 goal difference. Admittedly that's not going to happen but it will stop Hereford becoming champions at least for 24 hours until the result of Tuesday's game between Alvechurch and Sporting Khalsa is known.
And if Alvechurch win and Hereford lose tonight, and Church keep winning, it could mean Hereford must win on Saturday to secure the title.
Let's hope the Hereford players can do the business this evening.
