The Result Speaks For Itself Said Beadle.

Peter Beadle felt last night's 4-0 win at Long Eaton was comprehensive.

"The result speaks for itself," said the Hereford FC manager at his post match press interview.

"4-0, away from home, on a Thursday night, long trip, held up in traffic, got here late.

"And I thought they were a decent side, I'm surprised where they are in the league.

"They had pace and strength up front, they are mobile and organised at the back, they had lads who were quite industrious in midfield and they wanted to play a bit as well.

"So I'm little bit surprised where they are.

"I know they had a bit of upheavel in the early part of the season with their manager leaving but they are not a bad side, I was quite impressed with them.

"Even though we had quite a few chances first half I thought it was always going to take another goal to eventually kill them off.

"Really delighted that Mills got his goal and then obviously his second one was fantastic.

"Then like always when we get two or three up we find ourselves in a position where it's a case of can we get a couple more.

"But 4-0 is very comprehensive away from home."

John Mills After His Second Of The Game With Sub Anthony Robbins
Mills scored twice after a spell when he's not find the net regularily.

"I think for him he was absolutely delighted, I think his work-rate in the last couple of games has been phenominal. I think it shows how much how much it means to the team especially on Saturday with them all trying to que him up to get a goal.

"And it always shows when he got his goal finally how all the players went over there, as it means a lot to them as it does to him.

"I've always said all along that when he works like he did on Saturday and as he did tonight, if he doesn't score I'm not too worried because I know eventually he will get goals.

"Centre forwards they score in batches, he had a batch from the start of the season right up to probably just after Christmas, and then he's been through a bit of a rough spell.

"The difference is, like I explained to him the other week,  with no disrespect to Didcot, when he played at Didcot they had nobody else, he had to play every week no matter what.

"We've been able to give him a little bit of a rest, try and build his confidence up,bring in back inblightly and the last two games he's been fantastic and he's earned those two goals tonight.

"Hopefully that will get him even more confident to go on another scoring run and in the next couple of weeks maybe score some important goals for us."
