HFA Seek Football Development Co-Ordinator

Do you want experience of delivering FA Programmes? Can you help us develop grassroots football in Herefordshire?

The Herefordshire Football Association is passionate about developing grassroots football and is seeking to recruit a Football Development Co-ordinator to help us do that.  The successful candidate will be tasked with implementing our vision for football to grow and thrive in Herefordshire.  Over the past 4 years, we have had 8 students take up placement opportunities of which 7 now work full time in the sports industry.   The other is still a volunteer in football whilst pursuing a role in the media.

The successful applicant is likely to be of degree level calibre and have experience in sports/football development. You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of grassroots football. This dynamic individual will be supported by the Football Strategy Manager. Candidates will have some experience of planning and managing projects. Excellent administration, communication and IT skills will be required. This role will give a student or recent graduate an opportunity to develop their practical skills, enhance their CV and gain experience within Football Development delivering FA Programmes.  The role will include writing funding bids, facilitating football sessions and developing the Herefordshire Football in the Community project.

To apply, please send a CV and covering letter marked ‘Private and confidential’ explaining in 500 words your experience and suitability for the role by emailing Roger.Goodwin@HerefordshireFA.com

The closing date for applications is: 28/03/2016. If you have not been contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date, please assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
