This is from Hereford FC:
Officials at Hereford FC would like to thank supporters for their understanding relating to sales of tickets for the Midland Football League game at Alvechurch on Easter Monday.
With Season Ticket holders having been given priority to purchase tickets, there were just 91 tickets available on general sale this morning (Wednesday 23 March).
With a large queue having formed at Edgar Street by 8.30am, only a small amount of these tickets were released online while the rest were allocated to face-to-face sales.
Sadly, demand at Edgar Street and online far outweighed the number of tickets available and the club is hugely sympathetic to all those supporters who have failed to secure tickets for Monday’s game.
With such fantastic interest in the club’s progress at the present time, unfortunately it is inevitable that some people will be disappointed, no matter how the club decides to sell tickets when an allocation is low.
Please be reassured that every decision taken by club officials is made to try to be as fair to the widest cross section of fans as possible.
Once again, thank you all for your patience and understanding, but, most of all, thank you for your incredible support.
